Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level professional registered nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.

Under supervision, you will educate patients and families, perform hemodialysis care, administer medications as prescribed, and contribute to quality improvement and a safe care environment in our outpatient dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the employing state.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and document in medical record.
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment options.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response and team training.
