Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Outpatient RN for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, coordinating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians.

As part of the ESKD care team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities, while ensuring safe and effective therapy delivery and documentation in the patient record.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Entry-level RN with nephrology experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Perform ongoing assessment, planning and evaluation for dialysis care.
• Document in medical records and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and follow approved care protocols.
• Assist with patient education and transplant/treatment modality discussions.
