Job summary

Block's Afterpay division is seeking an Outbound Mid-Market BDR in North America to engage with senior decision-makers at mid-sized enterprises. You will perform strategic prospecting, build pipeline, and demonstrate value of our payments and e-commerce solutions, including Cash App Pay.

You'll collaborate with Account Executives, manage multi-threaded outreach, and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment across remote and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B sales development experience, preferably fintech, payments, or enterprise SaaS.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota in mid-market or enterprise.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior executives.
• Experience with multi-threaded prospecting and ABM approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic prospecting campaigns targeting mid-market businesses.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to hit quarterly targets.
• Create personalized, research-driven engagement strategies for potential enterprise clients.
• Conduct needs analysis to understand complex requirements and integrations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth transition of qualified opportunities.
• Maintain documentation in Salesforce to support multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Research market trends, competitors, and verticals to inform outreach.
