Job summary

Block is seeking an experienced Mid-Market Account Executive to build and expand relationships with high-potential merchants across North America. You will own a portfolio of prospective merchants, drive new pipeline, lead a consultative sales process, and close opportunities for Cash App Pay and Afterpay.

You will collaborate with founders, executives, and leaders across product, engineering, marketing, finance, and legal, coordinating deal teams to move opportunities through defined milestones

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle B2B sales or related go-to-market roles.
• Track record of meeting quota and closing mid-market or complex deals.
• Strong prospecting, pipeline-building, and executive networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of mid-market opportunities from prospecting to close.
• Develop account plans, identify priorities, and uncover revenue opportunities.
• Build pipeline through outbound outreach, events, referrals, and partnerships.
• Lead discovery with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Develop business cases and negotiate pricing, terms, and implementation.
