Job summary

RingCentral is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to grow the outbound opportunities for our sales team. You will qualify and nurture leads, educate prospects, and create sales-ready opportunities while leveraging SFDC to track interactions.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with strong phone and writing skills and a proven track record in lead follow-up across executive levels.

Qualifications

• Outbound lead qualification experience
• Hunter mentality with proven prospecting success
• Familiarity with cloud-based software services is a plus
• Strong ability to learn new technology and ramp up quickly
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy sales team environment
• Excellent listening and writing skills, plus energetic phone demeanor
• Proficient with computers; Salesforce experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize a consistent contact attempt process via phone, email and chat to follow-up, nurture and qualify leads
• Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
• Keep abreast of industry and technologies to be a trusted resource
• Follow the pre-sales process and document interactions in Salesforce
• Manage daily plans to maximize phone time and tailor scripts to segments
