Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. in New York is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our Sales Development Organization—the engine behind new business growth. You will generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, research accounts, and partner with outbound teams.

This role trains for a long-term career in sales, with exposure to top-tier customers, and a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll build skills in prospecting, relationship-building, and CRM tools while contributing

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account research across a mix of new and existing accounts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levels.
Experience with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling across existing Salesforce customers and net new logos in an assigned territory.
Partner with account teams to identify and source pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and key decision makers.
Manage and nurture inbound leads and early-stage opportunities driven by outbound efforts.
Participate in an intensive sales training program designed to build the foundational skills needed for a long-term career in sales.
