Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales Development Organization in San Francisco. You will generate new pipeline through outbound prospecting and partner with account teams to uncover opportunities across existing and net-new logos.

You will manage inbound leads, engage decision makers, and participate in an intensive training program to build a long-term sales career at Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and account research across a mix of new and existing accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage decision makers at multiple levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding goals and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling across existing Salesforce customers and net new logos in an assigned territory
• Partner with account teams to identify and source pipeline by researching lines of business, personas, and key decision makers
• Manage and nurture inbound leads and early-stage opportunities driven by outbound efforts
• Participate in an intensive sales training program designed to build foundational skills needed for a long-term career in sales
