Job summary

MDS Staffing represents an opportunity for a Lead Generation Specialist to join our client's team in New Milford, CT. The role focuses on identifying prospective customers, qualifying inquiries, and generating sales opportunities for the outside sales team.

On-site work during regular business hours with no remote options. You will conduct high-volume outbound calls, use email and LinkedIn for outreach, and schedule product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in outbound calling, lead generation, inside sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role preferred.
• Experience in a technical, manufacturing, industrial, scientific, or B2B environment is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident telephone presence and comfort initiating conversations with new prospects.
• Strong listening and discovery skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls and work toward measurable goals.
• Strong research, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn technical products and explain their value clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Salesforce CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Lead Generation: research prospective customers, target accounts, and relevant market opportunities.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to introduce solutions and engage potential customers.
• Use email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels to support prospecting efforts.
• Identify decision-makers within target organizations and build prospect lists.
• Tailor outreach to each prospect’s business needs and schedule qualified product demonstrations and appointments.
