Estes Express in Sparks, NV is seeking an OS&D Clerk to investigate and resolve overages, shortages, and damaged freight, including Hazmat, and to identify freight for high value shortages. You will work with Service Center Operations, Safety, Compliance & Field Support, Security, and Customer Care to resolve inquiries and maintain accurate records.

You will also prepare paperwork, repack OS&D freight, manage daily/weekly reports, and monitor related emails, using tools like EDock, Customer

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent background accepted
• Knowledgeable in general LTL operations; OS&D experience preferred
• Willing to wear boots/safety footwear
• Knowledgeable in customer care, billing, pricing, tracing, dispatching, weights and inspection
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel
• AS400 experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with multiple priorities
• Must be able to work with minimal guidance and solve problems using established procedures
• Ability to work night or alternate schedules with notice
• Experience in transportation industry is a plus
• Ability to lift approximately 70 lbs
• Must comply with company policies and interact well with others

• Investigate and resolve overages, shortages, and damaged freight issues, including Hazmat
• Identify freight for high value shortages and determine shipment/PRO association
• Coordinate with Service Center Operations, Safety, Compliance & Field Support, Security, and Corporate Operations
• Assist with resolving customer queries regarding shipping orders and pricing
• Maintain count list of items received or shipped and verify against bill of lading
• Prepare paperwork and repack OS&D freight
• Maintain OS&D records for daily/weekly reporting to service center management
• Monitor OS&D emails and respond as necessary
