Job summary

Roadrunner in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an OS&D Technician to resolve lost or damaged freight and maintain accurate documentation for billing, claims, and service reliability at a high-volume service center.

You will own end-to-end OS&D resolution, coordinate with dock teams, ensure proper disposition, and help improve processes while delivering timely communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years OS&D, freight operations, or customer service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including email, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with AS/400 systems preferred.
• Solid math aptitude and data interpretation.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Experience with operational documentation, tracking systems, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own OS&D resolution end-to-end: act as primary contact, investigate, determine disposition, and manage exceptions.
• Maintain operational control on the dock: identify, stage, and track exception freight to final disposition.
• Execute documentation and systems accuracy: maintain records for claims resolution and billing integrity.
• Communicate across the network: provide updates to customers, terminals, and internal teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement: identify recurring issues and suggest process enhancements.
