Estes Express in Knoxville, TN is seeking a detail-oriented freight clerk to handle high-volume phone calls, billing inquiries, and OS&D documentation. You will verify bills of lading, prepare freight paperwork, and coordinate delivery times with customers.

This role requires strong clerical skills, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and AS400 experience is preferred. You must be able to work independently or in a team and pass pre-employment checks.

Formación

• Experience in billing, collections, tracing & OS&D preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• AS400 experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer high-volume telephone calls and route to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain receipts and verify against bills of lading; record discrepancies.
• Prepare OS&D paperwork and repackaging of freight.
• Maintain records and report OS&D issues to management.
• Coordinate delivery times with customers.
• Provide proof of delivery and respond to billing inquiries.
• Investigate shortages, overages, and damaged freight issues including Hazmat.
