Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Portland, OR metro area within the Orthopaedics segment. You will assist in expanding DePuy Synthes’ presence by guiding surgeons in the OR and providing product knowledge across the portfolio.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 4+ years of relevant experience, and proven ability to manage relationships, present effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) plus relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional or related experience.
• Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty.
• The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers; assist in achieving sales goals and market share in the territory.
• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room with clinical and product knowledge; present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products.
• Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring proper equipment availability and performance; provide OR and Sterile Processing Department consultation.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance; handle customer requests and manage hospital billing; create/close purchase orders.
• Share insights with sales, clinical, marketing and strategic teams to improve solutions; prepare sales reports and documents.
• Maintain equipment and assets; ensure promotional materials are current; ensure services meet high quality standards.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; differentiate DPS products with unique insights.
