Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Union, NJ seeks a Clinical Coordinator to provide administrative and clinical support in the orthopedic department. You will liaise between providers and patients, monitor procedure plans, and assist with follow-ups to support patient progress.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Department: Medical; Location: Union, NJ; Reports to Lead Physician Extender.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for the role.
• Previous clinical or administrative experience in an orthopedic setting is desirable.
• Familiarity with medical records management and EMR systems is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with patients, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake and registration.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and departments to facilitate communication.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and privacy rules.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and documentation for healthcare providers.
• Navigate CareCloud EMR, locate documents, draft patient notes, and assist with medical billing when needed.
• Coordinate with imaging centers and physical therapy clinics as required.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, data collection, and process improvements.
