Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Fair Lawn, NJ is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide administrative and clinical support in the orthopedic department. You will act as a liaison between patients and providers, monitor procedure plans, follow up, and help coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinic.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with EMR systems (CareCloud).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; clinical or administrative orthopedic experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with medical records management and privacy regulations (HIPAA) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake, registration, and medical record maintenance.
• Serve as liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments to facilitate communication.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including histories, test results, and treatment plans, per privacy regulations.
• Prepare and organize patient charts and ensure documentation is complete for providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud) to locate documents, write/assist with patient notes, and assist with medical billing.
• Coordinate with external facilities such as imaging centers and physical therapy clinics.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, data collection, and process improvements.
