Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Experience in clinical or administrative roles within orthopedics is desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is desirable.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake and medical record maintenance.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, and departments to facilitate communication.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including histories, test results, and treatment plans, in HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare and organize patient charts for healthcare providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud), locate documents, and assist with patient notes and occasional billing.
• Coordinate with external facilities (imaging centers, physical therapy) as needed.
