Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Old Bridge is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide administrative and clinical support in our orthopedic department. You will serve as a liaison between providers and patients, monitor procedure plans, coordinate care, and help ensure timely follow-up and progress evaluation.

This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in a clinical or administrative role within an orthopedic setting is desirable.
• Familiarity with medical records management and EMR systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with time management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the orthopedic clinic, including patient intake, registration, and medical record maintenance.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including histories, test results, and treatment plans, in compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA).
• Prepare and organize patient charts, ensuring documentation is complete and available for providers.
• Navigate EMR (CareCloud), locate documents, assist with patient notes, and assist with occasional medical billing.
• Coordinate with external facilities such as imaging centers and physical therapy clinics.
• Participate in audits, data collection, and process improvement initiatives.
