Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join the team at the Grandville site. You will handle registration, concierge and clerical tasks, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate data in our health system.

Responsibilities include scheduling, referrals, insurance verifications, EMR/EHR scanning, and assisting with training new staff. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and assist with complex problem solving related to patient flow.
• Perform administrative duties: patient checkout, scheduling, referrals, and processing of procedures and tests.
• Obtain or verify insurance authorizations and assist with denials/appeals when needed.
• Manage EMR/EHR scanning and EPIC-related uploading tasks.
• Assist with training new team members and cover for RN/CLS as needed.
