Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the sales cycle by handling customer orders, order entry, and basic account servicing in a manufacturing environment in Cerritos, California.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technology and communication skills and a passion for customer service; prior experience in manufacturing or printing/packaging is a big plus, and you will report to the Manager, Customer Service.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience and/or training.
• Manufacturing or printing/packaging environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and read measurements.
• Regularly sit and talk; occasionally stand and walk.

Responsibilities

• Speaks with internal and external customers to collect information and product specs.
• Receives purchase orders via email, fax, or phone and reviews order details before processing.
• Processes new purchase orders in the system, including delivery or shipping requirements.
• Routes job materials to production and notifies plant personnel of special orders.
• Handles inquiries and complaints promptly with good follow-up.
• Prioritizes workload to meet business needs and deadlines.
• Verifies shipping reports against packing lists and Customer Transaction Reports.
