Job summary

Brenntag Group in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin is seeking a Customer Service Representative to process orders, coordinate with Sales, and monitor inventory and delivery dates to ensure on-time fulfillment for assigned accounts.

You will work with internal teams to resolve questions, provide alternatives when delays arise, and strive to exceed customer expectations through clear communication and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Ability to problem solve and apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Must interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer orders for assigned accounts.
• Partner with Sales Representatives to resolve product questions.
• Monitor inventory, order status and delivery dates for on-time delivery.
• Proactively notify customers of potential delivery problems and provide alternatives.
• Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control and traffic to source substitutes.
• Expedite rush product requests with internal teams.
