Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a Customer Service Representative to create a positive customer experience by ensuring timely communication and accurate handling of orders throughout the full order life cycle. You will verify shipping, billing, pricing and PO details, enter special instructions, update records, and support the sales team while delivering responsive service to internal and external customers.

This role requires 2+ years in customer service, proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Customer Service or a related field.
• Chemical distribution or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Problem solving, independence, and strong listening/speaking/decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, on-call hours, or after hours.

Responsibilities

• Process orders accurately and manage full order life cycle.
• Verify shipping, billing, pricing, and PO information.
• Enter special instructions and update customer files.
• Support sales staff with field activities.
• Communicate with internal and external customers on various issues.
• Audit POs for pricing, terms, ETA, and carrier details.
• Handle customer product returns per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory policies.
