Job summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is seeking an HR Analyst to translate business needs into technical HRIS requirements, focusing on Oracle HCM implementations and BI-enabled insights. You will manage multiple HRIS projects, partner with IT and HR stakeholders, and drive process improvements across payroll, benefits, and talent management in a high-impact research environment.

The role requires strong communication, change management, and the ability to work across governance bodies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 5 years HRIS experience with Oracle HCM or MS/MA with 3 years HRIS experience with Oracle HCM
• Preferred: Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience identifying business requirements, formulating solutions, configuring and testing Oracle HCM
• Experience in process modeling, organizational development, or related field
• Experience with BI reports, dashboards, and applications using Power BI
• Experience implementing modern technologies to replace aging legacy systems
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management skills
• Experience with ROI analyses and enterprise policies/standards
• Experience as a Product Manager in an agile/scrum environment

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into technical requirements
• Manage multiple HRIS projects across Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Performance Management, and more
• Communicate project updates to HR, IT, and Functional Management; identify inter-relations
• Liaise with IT/HR/Payroll and vendors; manage stakeholders
• Use project management techniques across cross-functional domains
• Facilitate meetings and drive consensus; propose improvements to processes
• Maintain system security and confidentiality for HR data
• Assist with HR process improvements and roadmaps
• Develop requirements for software solutions; help design and develop technical solutions
• Support people change management and relationship management with digital platform managers
• Contribute to HR strategic planning with knowledge of systems and integrations
