Job summary

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is seeking an HR Analyst to translate business objectives into HRIS requirements and manage Oracle HCM modules. You will liaise with IT, HR, and vendors, document processes, develop roadmaps, and implement improvements across Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Absence Management, and HR Help Desk.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 5 years of HRIS experience with Oracle HCM
• MS/MA or higher and 3 years of HRIS experience with Oracle HCM
• Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, HR Management, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
• Experience identifying business requirements, formulating solutions, defining and reviewing configurations, and testing with Oracle HCM.
• Experience in process modeling and design, organizational development, operational and business support, or related field.
• Experience with business intelligence reports, dashboards, and applications using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience implementing modern technologies to replace aging legacy systems.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitation skills, and experience with change management.
• Experience preparing return-on-investment analyses.
• An understanding of policies, standards, management systems and procedures.
• Experience serving as a Product Manager in an agile/scrum software development and improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Translates business objectives into technical requirements and manages HRIS-related projects.
• Communicates project updates to HR, IT, and management; coordinates with vendors.
• Documents HR processes using diagrams, data models, state transitions, use cases, and rules.
• Leads Oracle HCM implementation across Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Mgt, Recruiting, Absence Mgt, HR Help Desk.
• Identifies process interfaces, gaps, variances, and user experiences.
• Looks for opportunities to improve, streamline, and reduce costs.
• Measures performance of processes and information flow; analyzes data.
• Develops roadmaps and business cases for capability improvements.
• Develops business requirements for software solutions and interacts with solution providers.
• Supports change management and stakeholder relationship management.
• Contributes to HR strategic planning with knowledge of systems and integrations.
