Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to provide exceptional patient service at our on-site eyewear store. You will bridge clinical services and retail, guiding patients through pre-testing, refraction, contact lens care, and product recommendations while maintaining a friendly, efficient flow.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or higher, 2+ years in customer service, and a genuine passion for helping patients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification; enrolled in comparable program may apply.
• 2+ years delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Strong communication with diverse groups of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction with a positive demeanor.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns or objections.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changing business needs in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with team to achieve store goals and clinical metrics.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and inform them about products and services.
• Answer inquiries and gather information for a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and update on order status.
• Ensure brand standards and perform basic housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain patient records confidential and HIPAA compliant.
• Other duties as assigned.
