Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding patient service and ensure a smooth transition between clinical services and the retail team. You will greet patients, answer questions, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or higher, 2+ years in customer service, and comfort with technology. Optical experience is a plus; training and advancement opportunities are offered with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction with a positive demeanor.
• Proactive problem-solving skills to address patient concerns.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs in a team.
• Schedule flexibility based on business needs.
• Interest in technology and curiosity about current innovations.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with team members to meet store goals and clinical metrics.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services.
• Answer inquiries and gather information to ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and inform on order status.
• Maintain brand standards and basic housekeeping when needed.
• Keep patient records confidential per HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as required.
