Warby Parker seeks an all-around Optometric Technician to work with our in-store optometrists, delivering a stellar patient experience during eye exams and supporting high-volume operations.

You will perform pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, help manage appointment flow, maintain accurate records, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Join a collaborative team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting in eye exams and data collection.
• Ability to train staff on insertion/removal of contact lenses.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as liaison between doctor and patient to foster rapport.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams as available.
• Provide insertion/removal training for new contact lens wearers and train team.
• Manage appointment flow and follow-up communications.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for medical professionals.
• Ensure exam room readiness, stock supplies, and equipment cleanliness.
• Support retail team as directed by Store Leader.
