Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to collaborate with our optometrists, manage high patient flow, and assist with pre-testing and contact lens training in our stores. You will support scheduling, data collection, and records while upholding privacy policies and regulatory standards.

You will train staff on insertion/removal, assist with video assisted exams when available, and help the team maintain organized exam rooms and accurate data for physicians.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between doctor and patient during eye exams.
• Perform preliminary data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing).
• Support in person and video assisted eye exam appointments.
• Train new contact lens wearers in insertion/removal; train team members as directed.
• Manage appointment confirmations and follow-ups for seamless visits.
