Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work alongside our Optometrists in a busy store environment. You will help manage high patient volumes, perform pre-testing, assist with contact lens training, and support data collection for eye exams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical environment supporting doctors.
• Completion of an Optometric Technician training program or CPOT certification.
• Familiar with electronic health records and healthcare technology.
• Knowledgeable about eyewear and able to describe features.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between doctor and patient, building rapport.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, IOP, pupil testing, etc.).
• Support in-person and video assisted eye exams.
• Provide insertion/removal training for new contact lens wearers.
• Manage appointment flow and confirm bookings to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with report preparation for medical professionals.
