Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work with our store teams and doctors in a fast-paced eye care environment. You will perform pre-testing, assist with eye exams, and help train staff on insertion/removal training for contact lenses while maintaining patient flow and data accuracy.

The role includes supporting the doctor, coordinating appointments, and ensuring HIPAA privacy compliance in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical environment preferred.
• Ability to perform preliminary clinical data collection and documentation.
• Comfort with new medical applications and software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between doctor and patient during eye exams.
• Perform pre-testing: autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing.
• Assist with in-person and video-assisted eye exams when available.
