Warby Parker seeks an Optometric Technician to work closely with our Optometrists, handling pre-testing, data collection, contact lens training, and exam support in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist with appointment flow, maintain accurate records, and help deliver high-quality eye care while upholding privacy and regulatory standards. Benefits and competitive compensation apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Optometric Technician training program or CPOT certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a medical environment supporting doctors.
• Familiar with healthcare technology systems and optometry equipment.
• Previous work in optometry or medical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between doctor and patient to build rapport during eye exams.
• Perform preliminary data collection: autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing.
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exams and lens training as available.
• Assist with booking flow, confirmations, and follow-up for a seamless experience.
• Maintain organized exam rooms, restock supplies, and ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Support retail team per Store Leader directions and maintain data records.
