Job summary

Rosin Eyecare Sedalia seeks a full-time Optometric Technician to support eye exams and patient care. You will help manage patient flow, perform pre-exam testing, and handle records with care and HIPAA compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in optometry or healthcare, strong communication, and attention to detail. Weekend and evening support are required per location, with a friendly, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology.
• Experience in optometry, ophthalmology or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communicator with good listening skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage patient records and flow.
• Perform tests to aid the optometrist, including visual acuity, depth/color perception, retinal imaging.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; coordinate with Optometrist or Practice Manager.
