Job summary

Daynes EyeCare is hiring an Optometric Technician to ensure high-quality patient care during eye exams. You will support the optometrist, perform pre-exam tests, and assist with contact lens services in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 2+ years in optometry or healthcare, strong communication, and precise record-keeping. Weekend/evening shifts may be required at various locations. Competitive total rewards package offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in optometry/healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology.
• Experience with pre-exam testing and vision measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams; manage patient records and flow.
• Perform tests to aid optometrist (visual acuity, depth/color perception, retinal imaging).
• Review prescriptions and patient information; consult with clinicians as needed.
• Support contact lens exams and orders; handle scheduling and POS operations.
