Job summary

Rosin Eyecare, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Optometric Technician to support eye exams and patient care. You will assist with procedures, manage records, and help ensure a smooth patient flow.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work with the clinical team. Experience in optometry or healthcare, knowledge of diagnostic testing, and familiarity with optical equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in optometry/healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of optical terms and diagnostic testing.
• Experience with HIPAA and patient records.
• Preferred: Optometric technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage records and patient flow.
• Perform tests for vision examinations, e.g., acuity, depth/color perception, retinal imaging.
• Support pre-exam testing and dispersion of information to patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient data, coordinate with Optometrist or Practice Manager.
