Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams and dispensing medications.
• Familiarity with medical terms related to eye treatment.
• Experience maintaining patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Industry certifications: CPO, CPOA, CPOT.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-testing and specialty diagnostic testing with the Optometrist.
• Manage the doctor’s appointment schedule for efficient patient flow.
• Document medical findings in EHR and assist with clerical duties.
• Perform end-of-day tasks and keep the practice area organized.
