Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the Optometrists and ensure a smooth patient journey from pre‑testing to post‑examination. You will conduct preliminary evaluations, assist with specialty testing, and help manage scheduling to maximize efficiency.

The role requires HIPAA-compliant documentation, strong communication, and collaboration within a fast-paced clinic. This is an on-site, full‑time position offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating patients for eye exams.
• Familiarity with eye-treatment medical terminology.
• Industry certification: CPO, CPOA, or CPOT.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam testing and prepare the patient for the Optometrist.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and schedule appointments.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and documentation.
• Respond to patient inquiries and support clerical tasks.
• Clean and organize the practice and assist with office duties.
• May serve as scribe or assist with refractions.
