Job summary

AEG Vision in Centennial, CO is seeking a personable Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their prescription and lifestyle, ensure correct measurements, and engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service.

This role emphasizes accurate dispensing, insurance familiarity, and ongoing learning about frames, coatings, and lens technologies while delivering a superior in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor; sales experience preferred.
• High School or GED qualification (required).
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lens type, and lens treatments.
• Explain eyewear options and ensure proper frame fit and measurements.
• Dispense glasses and adjust for comfort and visual acuity.
• Explain insurance benefits, warranties, and coupons to patients.
• Maintain clean, organized displays and work area.
