Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to support patients with eyewear selection and lens fitting in a clinical setting. The role involves working from prescriptions written by Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, dispensing glasses and contacts, and delivering excellent patient care.

The technician will measure and fit frames, operate optical equipment, and educate patients on lens options and coatings while ensuring a world-class Total Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience in a clinical or medical office.
• Familiarity with ophthalmic terminology and patient needs is a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and fit glasses and contacts per prescriptions.
• Assist patients in selecting frames coordinating with measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate optical testing tools and document patient information accurately.
• Provide education on lenses, coatings, and frame options.
