Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC is seeking an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts, aligning prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists with patient needs.

You will assist patients in selecting frames, measure facial and eye dimensions, operate lens meters, and educate on lenses and coatings. The role emphasizes exceptional patient service and accuracy in eyewear fulfillment within a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience is preferred.
• Background check must be satisfactory as required by state.
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Total Patient Experience to build relationships while providing medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and facial measurements.
• Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer to ensure accurate prescriptions.
• Educate patients on lenses, coatings, and frames to suit individual needs.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and repair frames as needed.
