Job summary

EyeCare Associates, Inc. seeks an Optical Technician to support patients' medical needs while maximizing retail sales.

You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts from optometrist prescriptions, connect patient needs to goods and services, and help deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience. Responsibilities include assisting in frame selection, measuring facial metrics, operating the auto-lensometer and lensometer, and recommending lenses, coatings, and frames.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a customer-facing role.
• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and facial measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders; adjust frames as needed.
