Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, combining retail and medical support. You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts based on prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists, while ensuring patient satisfaction and accurate measurements.

Applicants should have high school completion, ophthalmic experience preferred, and be able to work in a dynamic clinical setting with proficient computer and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing role with patients or equivalents.
• Favorable background check and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience by building relationships while supporting medical needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames; coordinate with facial measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer; explain lens options and coatings.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and perform frame adjustments.
