Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician to enhance the Total Patient Experience by dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts per ophthalmologists' prescriptions. You will help connect patient needs to available goods and services while maintaining a high standard of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with frame selection, operating lensometry equipment, educating patients on lens options, and processing orders with accuracy in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients
• Preferred medical office experience, ophthalmic background encouraged
• Must pass background check as required by state
• Able to prove identity and work authorization in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience while supporting medical needs
• Assist patients in selecting frames and accessories using prescriptions
• Operate optical equipment (auto-lensometer and manual lensometer)
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and perform adjustments and repairs
