Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Lawrence, KS is seeking an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts, interpreting prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. You will engage with patients to understand needs and connect them with suitable frames, lenses, and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HIPAA compliance required for associates.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients and provide medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and facial measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders in E360.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and keep work area organized.
• Support office duties as assigned by management.
