Job summary

LensCrafters in Austin, TX seeks a Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and manage key optical and lab processes. You will guide the sales team, assist customers with selections, and ensure accurate eyeglass fitting and warranty services.

You will lead in-store operations, train team members, and uphold optical quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. Eligible candidates should have strong communication and leadership abilities and a passion for eye care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED
• Strong optical & retail experience
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise
• Strong communicator & listener
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Sales skills
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators
• Leadership & training experience
• Edging & mounting experience
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience

• Retail: Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service
• Retail: Proactive & solution-driven, accurate execution & product knowledge
• Retail: Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates
• Retail: Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder
• Lab (if applicable): Custom fits glasses & place prescription in lenses
• Lab (if applicable): Strengthen knowledge, skills, & certification for lens/store processes
• Lab (if applicable): Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirements
• Lab (if applicable): Maintain safe working environment and basic tool maintenance
