You will guide staff, assist customers with selections, and ensure accurate lens fitting and mounting as part of a high-quality optical experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, product knowledge, and maintaining standards of service and operation across in-store and lab activities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong optical and retail knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Sales and problem solving skills.
• Experience with edging and mounting of lenses.
• Familiarity with optical measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LensCrafters team delivers unsurpassed customer service.
• Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales associates.
• Act as a responsible alternate store key holder.
• In the lab: custom fits glasses and places prescription in lenses.
• Help strengthen staff knowledge, skills and certification for lens and lab processes.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment and safe work practices.
• Oversee basic lab tool maintenance and system upkeep.
