Job summary

EssilorLuxottica's LensCrafters team in Santa Monica is seeking a Team Lead who will deliver exceptional customer service and drive store success through effective management of optical and lab processes.

The role involves guiding sales associates, assisting customers with selections, and ensuring eyewear meets optical standards while maintaining a safe, efficient lab environment. Experience in edging, mounting, and optics is preferred.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED required.
Strong optical and retail experience.
Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Basic math skills and sales ability.
Experience with edging and mounting.
Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
Edging and mounting experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer Service.
Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
In lab, custom fits glasses and places prescription in lenses.
Strengthen knowledge, skill, and certification for lens and lab processes.
Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
Create a safe working environment and maintain lab tools and systems.
