Job summary

LensCrafters in Asheville, NC is seeking a Team Lead to deliver outstanding customer service and drive store success. You will manage both optical and lab workflows, supervise staff, and ensure accuracy in fittings, edging, mounting, and transactions.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with selections, acting as an alternate key holder, training teammates, and upholding eyewear quality standards while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED required.
• Strong optical & retail experience.
• Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
• Strong communicator & listener.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong basic math skills.

• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership & training experience.
• Edging & mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service in-store and online.
• Assist customers with eyewear selections and offer recommendations.
• Act as alternate store key holder when needed.
• In Lab (if applicable), custom fit glasses and ensure lens accuracy.
• Train and support staff on lens and lab processes and safety.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
