Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor in Los Gatos, CA to lead the optical team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with opticians and retail staff to measure, fit, and explain eyewear while upholding quality standards.

The role includes opening/closing the store as a keyholder, mentoring the team, and maintaining store operations. A licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of experience including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain prescription terminology to customers.
• Detail-oriented, energetic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical duties, assist customers, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards.
• Open/close procedures as a keyholder and manage store operations.
• Mentor Optical team and participate in apprentice program, fostering a positive work culture.
• Maintain store systems, inventory, and general business operations.
