Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team. You will assist customers with eyewear needs, take measurements, and ensure precise fitting while upholding Warby Parker standards.

You will mentor staff, manage store operations, and drive exceptional service on the floor. The role requires a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician with 2+ years of supervisory experience, and a passion for eyewear.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective, professional communicator who can explain terminology to customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants.
• Open/close the store as a keyholder and manage daily operations.
• Ensure optical standards are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintain store systems and inventory databases; foster a positive team culture.
