Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor in Los Angeles to lead the optical team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store, mentor staff, and maintain daily store operations.

The ideal candidate is a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified with 2+ years of supervisory experience, passionate about eyewear, and capable of explaining prescriptions clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Active dispensing license in applicable state or ABO certification.
• 2+ years of optician experience with supervisor responsibilities.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to mentor staff and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical duties including measurements, fitting, and ensuring eyewear accuracy.
• Explain prescriptions and product options to customers clearly.
• Set store up for daily success; oversee operations and staff zoning.
• Mentor Optical team and participate in apprentice programs.
• Maintain inventory databases and general store systems.
