Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll mentor opticians and retail advisors, handle optical duties, and ensure precise measurements and eyewear fittings.

As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store and uphold Warby Parker standards while fostering a positive, productive work environment for staff, all while maintaining exceptional service for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician where required by state law.
• ABO certification or equivalent licensure with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience supervising or mentoring optical staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, take measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options to customers.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including apprentices, and ensure service standards.
• Help maintain store operations, inventory data, and overall efficiency.
