Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our Lincoln Heights shop. You will lead the optical team, handle dispensing, measurements, and maintain standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As a keyholder, you’ll open/close, mentor staff, and ensure store operations. Eligible candidates are licensed opticians with ABO certification and strong communication. This full-time role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician status in states with licensing requirements; ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience including supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Optical duties: Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs; take and record measurements, fit eyewear with high accuracy; ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements; explain prescription terminology and product offerings.
• Leadership responsibilities: Set store up for daily success by executing all operational, service, and staff zoning procedures; drive store vision and sales through superior service; mentor the Optical team including Apprentices; maintain store systems, inventory databases, and operations; foster a productive, positive culture.
